Responsibilities

    • Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, or in person.
    • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for tax professionals.
    • Collect and organize client tax documents securely.
    • Coordinate with CRA regulatory bodies as needed. 
    • Prepare, scan, and file tax-related documents.
    • Input client information into tax preparation software. 
    • Verify data accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
    • Assist with electronic filing of tax returns via different methods.
    • Assist with Tax Slip filing 
    • Track filing deadlines and ensure timely submission.
    • Prepare correspondence, reports, and invoices and assist with billing.
    • Prepare summaries or reports for management.
    • Set up new client accounts in internal systems.
    • Provide clients with required forms and instructions.
    • Perform a variety of administrative and clerical activities
    • Work collaboratively with other team members and leadership

Skills and Experience

  • Bilingual in both French and English (verbal and written).
  • Previous experience working with Tax professionals is considered an asset.
  • 2+ years of previous administrative experience,  in a professional working environment.
  • Experience with Tax Software would be considered an asset
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
